Compare product capability first
A supplier that already works with your construction type, fabric family and finishing requirements can be a better fit than a geographically closer supplier without that capability.
Compare minimums and material economics
Low finished-garment quantities do not automatically mean low material minimums. Fabric, dyeing, trims and branding can determine whether a small order is commercially viable.
Compare development and communication
- Can the route support sampling before bulk?
- Who translates feedback into production instructions?
- How are changes and approvals documented?
- Who is responsible when the brief changes?
Compare landed complexity, not only unit price
Freight, customs handling, import VAT, timing, quality risk and coordination effort can change the real cost of a route. Ask for written delivery responsibilities before comparing offers.
